HYGIENA ENSURE WITH ULTRASNAP
Hygiena delivers a rapid microbial detection, monitoring, and identification solution. We test surfaces before and after each treatment with the SystemSURE Plus™ Luminometer ATP hygiene monitoring system.
The Hygiena is the most accurate and the best on the market. Below are before and after videos using the Hygiena testing surfaces.
ATP is quantified by measuring the light produced through its reaction with the naturally occurring firefly enzyme luciferase using a luminometer. The amount of light produced is directly proportional to the amount of ATP present in the sample.
Hygiena SystemSURE Plus was shown to be the most accurate and precise ATP test system because results have an acceptable standard error limit of +/– 10%. Other systems can vary up to 130%, which is highly imprecise and very inaccurate.
What is ATP testing? Adenosine Triphosphate, or ATP, is the energy molecule found in all organic material, including bacteria and human tissues, making it a perfect indicator when trying to determine if a healthcare environmental surface is clean or not.
